Rotary runs many youth programs throughout the year and we encourage our communities to nominate their youths for these great opportunities.
Rotary Youth Program of Enrichment (RYPEN)
RYPEN is a weekend camp for young people who are between 15 - 17 and are in years 9, 10 and 11. Participants develop their potential through a mixture of lecture-style sessions and adventure-based learning.
Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA)
RYLA is an intensive weekend residential leadership experience organised by Rotary where young people aged between 18-30 years can develop leadership skills whilst having fun and making connections.
Rotary Youth Exchange (RYE)
RYE builds peace, one young person at a time. Students learn a new language, discover another culture and truly become global citizens. Destinations will be advised.
Rotary 4 Way Test (R4WT)
R4WT is a competition offered to year 6 and year 10 students where the student must prepare a 6-minute speech to illustrate their understanding of the Rotary Four Way Test
Camp Opportunity
Camp Opportunity is a week long live in camp for young special-need adult ‘Campers’ between the ages of 18-35 years. Each camper is teamed up with a ‘Buddy’ for a week of adventure as they ix and interact in a fund atmosphere to share new friendships and experiences
